Foundation Mission
The Accelerating Angels Foundation is dedicated to developing programs and services to empower early-stage, high-growth women-owned businesses. Our focus is on enhancing their confidence, refining their pitch, and providing materials and professional guidance to significantly improve their chances of securing essential funding.
We educate and train new angel investors—particularly women and people of color—on making informed, impactful investment decisions and fostering a more inclusive investment landscape.
Impact Partner Opportunities
Your contribution will create lasting change by empowering women-owned businesses and supporting a more inclusive investment ecosystem. We offer two levels of Impact Partnerships:
Level 1: Empowerment Champion
- Donation/Grant: $50k
- Allocation: $25k supports the foundation and programs for founders, and $25k is invested into the Fund, directly impacting 20+ women-led businesses.
- Benefits: 100% tax-deductible with 50% will continue to support the foundations through Fund performance and returns.
Level 2: Growth Advocate
- Donation/Grant: $20,000
- Allocation: $10k supports the foundation and programs for founders, and $10k is invested into the Fund, directly impacting 20+ women-led businesses.
- 100% tax-deductible with 50% will continue to support the foundations through Fund performance and returns.
Annual Sponsorships

FundHERbiz™ Startup Showdown
The next FundHERbiz™Startup Showdown event is July 17, 2025.
The Women’s Small Business Accelerator (WSBA) and Accelerating Angels are excited to announce our 2nd annual FundHERbiz™ Startup Showdown!
Ohio women-owned businesses will pitch to win cash awards. This “shark tank” like entrepreneurial event showcases innovative ideas for products and services. The event supports lifestyle businesses looking to monetize and grow their businesses, as well as startup businesses at the early, high-growth stage, looking to scale and exit their business in 3-7 years.
